FOR THE 2010-2011 LICENSE YEAR

and TAX PAYMENT PLANS

Please be advised that the Liquor Commission will impose compliance with this law effective June 2010 whereby all renewal applications must be accompanied by your proof of liquor liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.  To prove compliance, request a "Certificate of Insurance" from your insurer.

Amendments to Chapter 281, Hawaii Revised Statutes Act 177, effective July 1, 2009, requires all applicants for a liquor license and existing liquor licensees to have and show proof of liquor liability insurance coverage in the amout of $1,000,000.

NEW DEADLINE

 

Effective September 1, 2005

Applications for Special Licenses - MUST BE SUBMITTED SIX - 6 – WEEKS BEFORE THE EVENT

The following applications MUST BE SUBMITTED THREE - 3 – WEEKS BEFORE THE EVENT:

·        Requests for temporary extension or reduction of a premises

·        Applications for Catering Licenses

·        Applications for Transient Vessel Licenses

·        Requests to employ a minor

·        Requests for outside warehouse

 

There is an average of 100 – 120 days for processing a new or transfer of license application.
