Calendar Highlights
July through October 31, 2005: Open submissions period for proposed charter amendments
December 2005 - February 2006: Initial review of proposals
March - April 2006: Community meetings
May 2006: Commission votes on tentative approval of proposed amendments for the ballot
June - July 2006: Legal review and revision of proposals
August 2006: Final approval by Commission; submit to City Clerk for election ballot.
Fall 2006: Public information campaign
November 2006: Voters go to the polls!
